Welcome to Bowland Field Smallholding 

At Bowland Field, we take pride in our smallholding where we lovingly care for our sheep, chickens, ducks, and quail. Our birds are currently laying well, providing us with an abundance of field-fresh eggs that we are excited to share with our local community. 


Delivery Details 

We are committed to providing a smooth and convenient service: 

  • Delivery Areas: HG1, HG2, Hampsthwaite, and Killinghall 
  • Payment Methods: Cash on delivery 
  • Delivery Times: Please allow 2 to 3 days for delivery of orders from Monday to Friday. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Bowland field fresh eggs

Handling & Care

Our eggs will be supplied unwashed so may be dirty (especially the duck eggs) and will not have been refrigerated. Eggs will be dated with the date gathered, (either on the egg or the egg box).


For the longest lasting eggs, do not wash until ready to use. 

Rinse off in warm water without soap. 

Washed eggs will last about 2 months in the refrigerator. 

Unwashed eggs will last about 2 weeks on the countertop or 3 months in the refrigerator.
